CAMPHOR TREE
- Evergreen trees and shrubs of Asia and Australia
with aromatic leaves and wood, of which a few a cultivated in
the extreme southern United States.
- The camphor tree is hardy in the lower Gulf states, and is
extensively planted for shade. Common roadside planting in southern
California. Hardy in central peninsular of Florida where it thrives
well if attention is given to fertilizing and cultivation. Does
not do well in wet soils.
- Grows to 40 ft.
