• The Tong Tree is an Asian native mostly grown in Florida. It is evergreen or partly deciduous tree, with handsome bronzy foliage. The glossy leaves are 2 to 5 inches long.
   
• The flowers are small and greenish. Male and female flowers are on different trees. The fruit is a pea-sized berry that can be yellow, brown, reddish or blue-black.
   
• Prefers fast draining soil, good drainage and even moisture.
   
• Height to 65 feet.
